SMC ARM5S Series Single Units Type Pneumatic Relieving Regulator
Air Regulator manifold series ARM standard models are available with 4 connection methods and have backflow function availability. Modular styles can be freely mounted on a manifold station and quickly set up using the new handle.

Q1. What is an FRL unit?
An FRL unit comprises a filter (F), regulator (R), and lubricator (L). These individual units can combine into one unit to ensure clean air in a pneumatic system. It is also possible to use each component individually.
Q2. What is FRL unit explain its working and function?
Compressed air supplied to pneumatic systems can often be contaminated, over-pressurised or non-lubricated. This is where filter regulator lubricator units come in. FRL units are used to help prevent damage to downstream equipment by ensuring that any compressed air supplied to power machinery is contamination-free.
Q3. How do I select a FRL unit?
In most cases, you would choose between FRL units with 2 or 3-stage. Did you know that both solutions can do the same job? Both solutions deliver the same three 3 functions (Regulation, Filtering, Lubrication). The main differences between those two types of FRLs are aesthetics and compactness.
Q4. Which oil is used in FRL unit?
Filling the lubricant. Use ISO VG 32 turbine oil for the lubricator. Disconnect the air supply. First, remove the oil bowl and fill oil below the maximum level. With pulling the stopper down, turn the oil bowl to either side to remove it.
